Full Light Protection
The Sunfilm product line has been designed to offer a broad spectrum of maximum sun protection from the full range of sun rays: UVA, UVB, infrared radiation (IR) and visible light (HEV). We started by protecting the skin from UVB radiation and continued with UVA.
Today, we have created formulas to offer protection from infrared radiation (IR) and visible light (HEV), rays that are known for penetrating even deeper into skin causing long-term damage. Our labs have developed products of Full Light Protection forming a shield against the full spectrum of sun rays.
What is the difference between UVA and UVB rays?
There are 3 main types of rays that the sun emits – UVA, UVB & UVC.
Whilst the majority of UVC rays are blocked by the ozone layer, UVA & UVB rays are the most common ones that affect our skin.
UVA rays are those that can cause premature ageing & is linked to the degeneration of collagen in our skin as well as the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and pigment.
UVB rays are associated with associated with the burning of the skin which we associate with when wearing sunscreen while on holiday.
Both UVB and UVA rays are responsible for the damage of DNA, collagen fibres and skin density.
HEV & Infrared

With so much time spent on laptops, phones & computers during our day, Juliette Armand have added HEV protection to the range of sunscreens. HEV comes from technological devices we use daily as well as the sun.
Infrared radiation (IR) can come from the sun and is known for penetrating the skin causing long term damage.
